Full Frame Bikes !!

So yeah, yesterday like i said on my previous post, i went on my day shooting different locations. But also, for some odd reason, i started looking at the bikes locked on either post or fences...Don't know why, i just started shooting some of them, in different angles and decided to make a little serie !

I don't really like bikes that much, but i told myself that theirs lots of shapes in my framing, and that it's important to shoot different things to work your eyes and to create new things !! Cause if we only shoot what we like, then how can we keep innovating !?!? So that's why, everytime i walk around, i shoot things that i don't normaly do, just to practice my eyes !!

Anyway, heres a few shots i did....obviously all '' full frame '' : hence, the name of the post ! For the people that don't know what full frame means, well, let me put it this way : What you see in the picture is what i saw when i took it ! No re-framing, as is !! Unaltered !!

Enjoy,
JM

Scouting

Yesterday was a very good day for me. I simply went out and about with not much to do but walk around Montreal with my camera with my 50mm. All i did, was scout around for some future locations for either, group pictures ( bands ), solo portraits, cars, products, etc...Just some cool spots or some not so cool spots for some not so cool shoots !!

Scouting is so important in photography, cause that kinda '' makes it or not '' in the picture...So i now have a folder with different interesting locations that hopefully, one day, il'l be able to use !

Anyway, just wanted to share this, i will post some pictures of the locations soon.

Flashing Lights - Toronto_Montreal serie

Hey bloggers, been a while since iv'e posted something on my photo'blog. Been busy, won't complain on that !!

Anyway, heres a serie of pictures i took on my way back from a shoot in Toronto with Francois. He was the driver and i was the shooter...hehe...Anyway, that night was '' ruff '' because it was snowing hard and it was around 1am !! Both tired of our shoot and now that !! So i decided to grab my camera and shoot cars, trucks, signs, etc...but with a twist !

Heres the first part of my '' Flashing Lights '' serie...more to come of that for sure. Don't know what i'm gona do with it, maybe print on canvas....dunno !!

Dtrack in Studio.

Heres some pictures i took when i was at DJ Horg's studio with Dtrack in montreal. Shot those last january, and today, i was browsing around my hard drive, looking for something and i saw the raw files that i forgot i had, so i decided to work on them a bit. Turned out not so bad at all. Well thats what i think.

TRAINS !!

So yeah, like always, i love shooting at night...but now, i found something that is just so damn fun to shoot !! TRAINS !! It makes beautiful shots ( well i think ) and not only that, but the thrill of shooting them is something. I mean, trains are just massive and strong and fast !! Once you jump that gate to go on the tracks, you feel different from the get go, and then, the train comes...Gotta frame quick, gotta think fast, gotta get out of the way cause you don't want to get seen, and not only that, its not like shooting cars at night in the streets, they will always be cars passing by, but not trains...One train, one shot !!

Anyway, heres two shots of trains i did a few hours ago....I LOVE IT !! There will be more to come for sure...

Enjoy,
JM
